a good experience
ground floor walk-in shower
The room was on the ground floor (i found that very convenient). parking was right outside my room. the bathroom had both a tub and a walk-in shower. It was quite nice. breakfast was standard, but i enjoyed it.
the phone in the room lacked prompts for room service (i didn't realize this until i needed it).

The swimming pool and hot spa provided a bonus for me. I spent a good amount of time there. also, the hotel's location allows walking access to the village. That's a definite plus. the hotel offers a tennis court.

The room decor was tasteful. It was also clean. the inclusion of a large spa bath added a touch of luxury. the outdoor area was secluded with a lovely garden view. the large king bed was especially good.

the staff were quite friendly and helpful (always a plus in my book). i experienced a smooth check-in process. the manager was very kind and available. a nice experience overall.

The hotel's location is central. It is quite close to wineries and other attractions such as the hunter valley gardens. some places such as harrigans are within walking distance. the location is great, very convenient.

i enjoyed the restaurant with its large windows and comfortable spacious lounge area. the service was excellent, and the menu was very pleasing. the breakfast selection included cereals, fruit, pancakes, hot meals, and pastries.
